closing some doors; sadly this needs to be one of them.

I met some great people here. you are all made of stars, etc.

2009 has seen a lot of change, trauma, death, and readjustment. Also, accidental kittens. They are cute. I am jumping ship with the bagel shop and going to try to float on my painting. We'll see. There is little resemblance left to what I had up here. That is neither here nor there. Also, as there is nothing left here to bear testament, the entire preceding phrase has been rendered absolutely meaningless. That which does not currently exist has never existed at all. All is here or nothing.

They say.

Anyways, barring this, my next option is to give up all worldy goods and sail around the world. I have to wait for Ernie to die first, I think.

Sorry Ernie.

Its easier to get someone to take care of the cats than the horse. That should be on a bumper sticker.

Oh well.

If any of you fine people would like to reach out and ____________(verb) me, you may do so at:

If you happen to be in the MD or southern PA area, look me up.

the word on the STREET

well. The word is that I have blogged.

shock, horror.

newaiz.

I know you care.

I would post a link, but I am feeling shifty and paranoid lately; mostly about the likelihood of submarines in shallow waters, or maybe something about shallow waters running deep...

what ev.

if you want a link, note me. <3

I only say because I have not yet (and perhaps never will) decide if I'm breaking away like a calving glacier, and setting off into blog land, away from DA. again, with the submarines.

Its too soon to say. But, you'd better start stocking up on freshwater and kosher coca cola, while the gettin's still good. That's all I'm saying. Dontcha know.

that was the banner on DA while I wrote this. Well. Long overdue update for my... hordes of nonexistant fans. If there are ten of you out there who still read this... why? I'm really not here anymore. DA is big and uncomfortable and time consuming, and most of you have gone before me, and the rest shall surely follow.

Then again, going through my gallery today I realized that for not being here, I have left a whole lot of nothing behind. I put 99 things in storage and it didn't even make a dent in the metric ass-load of undifferentiated crap in this gallery. I haven't decided if its all got to go or if whats up can gel here a while longer.

meanwhile, here's some universal truth to ponder:

Bex: theyre not frosted. do they still count as cupcakes if they're not frosted?

Kramer: they might be muffins

Bex: hmm
im frosting them before work

Kramer: well
so long as the intention is there
the being of the cupcake is all about the intentionality

Bex: really?

Kramer: fer shizzle

((group discussion question: At what point in the becoming of the object does the expression of the intentionality into actuality create the seinede of the Sein? That is to say, at what point does the cupcake mix, the box of pure, unactivated but still directional potential, become the actual fulfillment of that potential? As soon as you open the box? At some point in the mixing? When you put them in the oven, when you remove them, when they're cooling, when they're being frosted, when you consume them? Or does the intentionality of the Baker activate the box before it is even purchased from the grocery store? Does the intentionality of intentionality have anything to do with the Neo-Platonic Nous? Alternately, explore the meaning of fate in context of cupcakes. Does the box of mix exist because there are potential bakers, or do the bakers create the potential of mixes? Is the baker activated by the potential of the mix? Does the activater have to be from a knowing intentionality, and what does this have to do with Sartre's opaque consciousness othering the other?))

Black River House

check that out, but not at night. lol, it scared the HELL out of me last night. Don't miss the videos of the rooms in the house, especially the stable. They don't mention it, but there is clearly a face looking in the window, with glowing eyes, and the figure of a little girl can be seen standing in the corner near the end of the sweep.

Also, the EVP they have on the site is some of the most convincingly... creepy... I've heard. Usually you hear that shit and its like "...uh... yeah, not so much".

The music available by the Secret Method is beautiful and creepy, and worth listening to.

so. good, TRUE, creep-as-fuck ghost story AND free music. DOES IT GET ANY BETTER FOLKS?

if that's too creepy, go back to my previous journal and read about a toe-licking mugger. It's more wholesome.
